Back on the bike after a long weekend off. I thought I would take my “long” route out to West 10th and then across the river to head towards Clarksville. My favorite section of Spring Street/Brown’s Station was a complete mess – it looked clear when I turned onto the road…soon there was a complete onslaught of fast movers & close passers. I was relieved to dive down onto Emery and get on to the river. Pretty uneventful from there. I turned in my best time yet for this route of 01:02:05.
Looking forward to tomorrow – I think I’ll make the nasty climb to Edwardsville.
